Helena hosted the Montana Cup in 2000 and 2001.
The Helena organizing group (Meet Director Patrick Judge, Martin Miller,
Jennifer Pearson-Thomas, Kathy River, Ann Seifert, and Jeff Thomas)
altruistically implemented several improvements without intending a profit from
their two-year endeavor as hosts.
Their most visible change was the inclusion of official team jerseys.
The initial output for the jerseys plus other race expenses were sizable, and
entry fees were adjusted only high enough to balance their profit/loss at zero.
And that is what they did, as you can see by the two fiscal reports below.
